Famous comedians and musicians will entertain Ealing’s residents during the summer.

In July 2016, events will take place in parks around the borough. Star of BBC comedy panel show, Mock the Week, Andy Parsons, will perform at the Ealing Comedy Festival in Walpole Park. Respected funk, soul and jazz musician Roy Ayers will play the jazz festival.

The programme will start with Greenford Carnival in Ravenor Park on Saturday 2 July, featuring live music, dancing, food tasting and games for children.

On the same weekend, Ealing Common is the venue for Eat Drink Ealing. It will feature a set of stalls where visitors will be able to taste food and drinks produced in west London.

From 6 to 9 July, the Campaign for Real Ale will run Ealing Beer Festival at Walpole Park, with beers from a wide range of British breweries.

Handmade costumes, live percussion music and DJs will celebrate culture and community spirit at Acton Park on 9 July for Acton Carnival.

Parsons will star at the Ealing Comedy Festival along with other comedians, Barry Cryer, Stephen K. Amos and Seann Walsh. It occurs between 14 and 22 July.

A blues festival will take place on 16-17 July, starring Earl Thomas and Paul Cox, and the jazz festival on 23-24, where Ayers will perform, will also feature Yolanda Brown.
