Makeover for shopping centre

British Land is to complete the refurbishment of its Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre in time for the Christmas trading rush.

The project will see improvements made to the existing malls, as well as enhanced lighting, new shop fronts and toilet facilities, signage and wayfinding.

The car park has also been upgraded, with better lighting, CCTV and more efficient ticketing services introduced.

Ealing Broadway has recently welcomed jeweller Pandora, click-and-collect service Doddle, all-day brasserie Limeyard and Caribbean-themed restaurant Turtle Bay to the centre. Swedish hardware store Clas Ohlson and teashop Bubble Magik will open before Christmas.

British Land is also planning to redevelop Crystal House, the block which forms one of three entrances to the shopping centre, improving frontages to the shops based there. The office building above the centre will be converted and extended to create 55 homes for private rented use.
