Pitshanger Lane is one of three finalists in the London category for the Great British High Street competition.
The public can vote on the Great British High Street website once a day up until the deadline of Friday 13 November. Judges will also visit Pitshanger Lane in the coming weeks.
Competition organisers were impressed with the use of social media by Pitshanger Lane traders to build community links, as well as the range of events and campaigns held there.
Ealing Council leader, Julian Bell, met shopkeepers and other traders to show his support for Pitshanger Lane.
Bell said: “I’m not surprised that Pitshanger Lane has been named one of London’s best high streets. It is home to a wonderful variety of 50 independent traders – with a butcher, baker and pizza maker – to name but a few.
“There is a fantastic community spirit and sense of pride and determination among businesses and I’m thrilled that this has been recognised."
