The Ealing Music and Film Festival attracted around 2,000 punters for its third run.

A sell-out performance by international violinist Tasmin Little at St Barnabas Church attracted 400 people, an event that “stole the show”, according to chairman of the Ealing Music and Film Festival Trust, Patrick Chapman.

There was a wide a variety of music on show, including rock and blues at the Red Rooms in Ealing Broadway. Polish films were played, tying into the theme for 2015: “the deep human and cultural heritage shared by Britain and Poland”. Ealing is home to the largest Polish community outside of Poland.

Speaking after the festival, Chapman said: “It was a fantastic success. After every event people left with smiles on their faces.”
