Ealing Council has appointed contractors for housing schemes across the borough.
Sandwood Design and Build was confirmed as the house builder for projects in Greenford and Northolt, while Berkeley Construct was awarded the tender for a Southall scheme.
The council has allocated £4 million for the three projects, which are part of its programme, called New Build, to construct more than 300 new properties in the borough by the end of 2016. The Greater London Authority has contributed £450,000 towards the projects.
Cabinet member for housing Jasbir Anand said: “With the increasingly overheated London housing market a constant challenge, the council’s New Build programme is working to provide much-needed additional homes to local residents.
“The new buildings provide residents with high-quality, spacious new homes that include sustainable timber frame construction designed to dramatically reduce energy and water use.”
All three projects are scheduled for completion by 2015.
