Ealing Council will next month rule on plans for the redevelopment of the former headquarters of global pharmaceutical firm GlaxoSmithKline in Greenford, Ealing.
An application was submitted by planning and development consultancy, Iceni Projects, in November 2013, and would transform the brownfield site into a mixed-used scheme, incorporating residential and leisure elements (pictured above).
The proposals include 593 new homes, community space, a new cinema, food store, space for restaurants and cafes and a new public open space at the Grand Union Canal.
A representative from the project team said the company had worked closely with the council and local community since 2011 to develop the plans.
