Network Stadium Housing Association has organised an event at the Rectory Park Community Centre on 27 July, for residents to learn about welfare reform, health and wellbeing and local job opportunities.

The Brent Law Centre and Network Stadium Housing Association’s own advisor, Joanna Costa, will provide welfare advice – with Ealing Skills Council and REDS10 on hand to discuss local employment and training opportunities.

A series of leisure activities will also take place as part of a fun day, including zumba and reflexology classes, craft sessions and a football competition.

As progress on the regeneration of Rectory Park continues, Rupert Moyne, head of regeneration at Network Housing Group said: "“With the prospect of the first residents being able to move into their new homes this autumn, the fun day will be a great opportunity for us all to get together and celebrate the excellent progress with the 425 home regeneration of Rectory Park.

"This event will bring together the already tight-knit community at Rectory Park and local organisations such as Network Stadium Housing Association who will manage the estate. Fingers crossed for some good weather!"

Chris Bath, lead architect at bptw partnership said  "The event will help cement the strong relationship the delivery team already established with the residents of Rectory Park throughout the design and early construction phase. It will be an enjoyable day for all involved."

The event is supported by Ealing Council, Network Housing Group, Rectory Park tenants and residents, Hill, Baily Garner and bptw partnership. It will take place between noon and 5pm.
